HP Pavilion G4(R23)
>Open the laptop and removed dust and corrosion.
>Checked all coils and bios impedence, all are good..
>Now connected the DC Jack, ampere goes to 0.071..
> I found S.B IC is heating...
>But i didn't removed the IC, checked the impedence at all of it's pin..
>Got impendece value.
>Now I move on to checking the voltage requirements..
> Firstly I checked the VIN supply to the IC, but i didn't got VIN on respective pin of the IC..
>Now I opened the schematics, found that at one end of resistor 19v present but on other end only 2.5v there, so i replaced the resistor from scrap board..
>After replacing resistor, again I connected a DC jack, now SB IC is not heating and ampere is showing 0.025 ..
>Now I triggered the board, ampere rised to 0.650,..but no displayðŸ˜
> Now I done the Bios, changed the ram, cleaned the ram slot, washed the board and put in owen etc... But again no results 😔.
> Now randomly found one IC PU12 just below the ram slot..
>That IC is getting all inputs and enable, but not releasing output, that should be around 2.5v as per schematics,..
>Now I changed the IC from scrap board with correct number, luckily I got the same IC..
Now again I connected DC jack, triggered the board now ampere rised the 1.300 and came back to 0.956, ..
>😀got the Display....
